IBK Veteran Service Puppy Giveaway

At Integrity Boerboel Kennels, we believe strong dogs can bring real comfort, stability, and purpose. This giveaway is our way of giving back to military veterans who carry invisible weight every day.

We’re gifting two Boerboel puppies to veterans seeking a loyal service companion to help manage anxiety and depression. These puppies are raised with intention, structure, and care. They are not charity cases. They are purpose-bred dogs placed with respect.

Why We’re Doing This

Many veterans live with stress that never fully turns off. Crowds feel heavy. Sleep is difficult. Calm moments are rare. A steady, confident dog can change that rhythm.

Boerboels are grounded, intuitive, and deeply bonded to their people. When properly raised and trained, they provide presence, routine, and emotional anchoring. This program exists to place the right puppy with the right person. It isn’t about rushing a feel-good story.

What This Giveaway Includes

  • Two Boerboel puppies gifted to selected veterans

  • Early socialization and structured raising

  • Professional obedience training funded by the program

  • Support from the IBK community during placement

What We Ask From Applicants

This program requires intention from both sides.

  • Share your personal story. Tell us about your military background, your current challenges, and why a Boerboel fits your life. Be honest. There isn’t a perfect answer.

  • Submit a $75 application fee. Every dollar goes directly toward raising the puppies and covering obedience training. No funds are kept as profit. The fee also helps ensure applications are thoughtful and sincere.

  • Proof of service by providing DD214 or military ID card.

How Winners Are Selected

Final selections will be made by the Integrity Boerboel Kennels Owners Facebook Group. This community consists of experienced Boerboel owners who understand the responsibility, structure, and commitment these dogs require.

Selections are based on fit, stability, and long-term success. Not popularity. Not sympathy. The goal is a placement that lasts a lifetime.

Important Expectations

Boerboels are powerful working dogs. They require structure, leadership, and consistency. This program is for veterans who are ready for that responsibility and who want a partner, not a pet.

If selected, you agree to follow training guidance and maintain communication throughout the placement process.

If you’re selected, you’ll receive a dog raised with integrity, transparency, and purpose. If you’re not selected, your contribution still directly supports the training and care of these puppies.

Applications are open for a limited time. Once submissions close, finalists will be reviewed by the IBK Owners Group and winners will be announced publicly.
